BASIC ELIGIBILITY
- Must identify as female
- Minimum age: 25 years
- Must reside in or near Fort Wayne, Indiana
- Valid Indiana driver's license
- Minimum 2 years of licensed driving experience
- Social Security number required
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must have a smartphone with reliable service

VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS
- 2005 or newer vehicle model
- 4-door vehicle required
- Vehicle must be registered in Indiana
- Must pass our comprehensive safety inspection
- Clean and professional appearance
- Functioning AC and heat
- Working windows and door locks
- Current vehicle registration
- Commercial ride-share insurance (we can assist with recommendations)

BACKGROUND & SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
- Clean driving record for the past 3 years
- Must pass comprehensive background check
- No criminal history
- No DUI/DWI convictions
- No major moving violations
- Drug screening required

PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS
- Professional appearance and grooming
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent customer service orientation
- Knowledge of Fort Wayne area
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (for delivery services)
- Willingness to complete our training program
- Flexible scheduling availability
- Must maintain vehicle cleanliness

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
All drivers must complete:
- She's Safe Transit orientation program
- Safety and defensive driving course
- Customer service training
- Special handling procedures (for medication/meat market deliveries)
- Emergency response protocols
- Fort Wayne area navigation training

INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS
- Personal auto insurance meeting state minimums
- Commercial ride-share insurance coverage
- Proof of insurance must be maintained and current

Our Women's Support Groups provide a safe and welcoming environment for female drivers and passengers to connect, share experiences, and find encouragement. These groups focus on building confidence, fostering personal growth, and addressing the unique challenges women face in life and also in the transportation industry. Safety Awareness Support Group
This group is used as a platform where members can share safety tips, personal experiences, and advice on how to stay safe while using rideshare services. This could include guest speakers, expert advice, and discussions about safety innovations from She's Safe Personnel.

Transportation Specialist Support Group
Crafted specifically to support She's Safe Transportation Specialists, this group encourages our drivers to share their experiences, challenges, and successes. This group also serves as a mentorship program where more experienced drivers can assist, guide & thoroughly train aspiring drivers.

Smart Parenting Support Group
She's Safe Transit created this group for mothers who are both passengers and drivers, to create a space where they can discuss parenting challenges, share advice, and support each other on their parenting journeys.

This group was created for drivers and passengers to be able to provide feedback and suggestions on She's Safe Transit services.

Women Entreprenuers Group
This group was crafted to encourage collaboration & support among women in business. This group will offer networking opportunities, workshops & the ability to share resources.

Community Events Group
This group was crafted to organize local meet-ups, community service projects, or social events to build camaraderie and foster a sense of belonging among members.
